Attention! Work is carried out on a cold engine, observing safety precautions (antifreeze is poisonous).
1. Place a container under the radiator drain plug. Attach a 10 mm (3/8 in) ID hose to the drain cock. Open the drain cock (see photo) and drain the liquid into a container.

2. After the coolant has drained, move the container under the drain plugs of the cylinder block (there are two of them, one on each side of the block). Unscrew the plugs and drain the coolant from the cylinder block.
6. Check the condition of the radiator hoses, interior heater hoses and clamps.
7. Replace any damaged clamps or hoses.
8. Rinse the radiator with a stream of clean water; if dirty water flows out of the cooling system, then rinse the system with a special detergent, following the instructions supplied with it.
9. Disconnect the hose from the tank, drain the liquid, rinse the tank and put on the hose.
7. Close the radiator drain cock and tighten both drain plugs.
8. Move the heater lever to the maximum heat output position.
9. Pour the liquid slowly (in a 50/50 ratio of water and antifreeze) to the bottom mark of the tank.
10. Without closing the radiator cap, warm up the engine until the liquid starts to flow through the radiator neck.
11. Stop the engine and after cooling down, fill the liquid to the edge of the neck. Screw in the plug.
12. Squeeze the upper radiator hose to remove air, then add coolant. Replace the radiator filler cap.
13. Start the engine, warm it up and check for leaks.
