Note: adjustment is performed with the steering rack removed.
1. Loosen the lock nut of the steering rack bearing adjusting plug.

2. Turn the steering rack bearing adjusting plug clockwise until the bearing is fully seated.
3. Turn the adjustment plug back 50-70 degrees (approximately on one side of the cork).
4. Install and tighten the adjusting plug lock nut.
Caution: When tightening the lock nut, hold the adjusting plug from turning. Tightening torque 68 N·m.
