Power steering pump pulley (Chevrolet Tahoe 2)

Removal

1. Remove the radiator fan diffuser (or just its upper part).

2. Remove the accessory drive belt.

3. Using a puller, remove the pump pulley.

Installation

1. Install the pulley onto the power steering pump shaft.

2. Using a mandrel, press the pulley onto the shaft.



3. Make sure that the pulley (1) is flush with the pump shaft (2) (with a tolerance of±0.25 mm).



4. Install the accessory drive belt.

5. Install the radiator fan diffuser.
