
2. Remove the absolute air pressure sensor (714).
3. Remove the fuel vapor canister purge solenoid valve and the fuel manifold together with the injectors.
4. Remove the throttle body and gasket.
5. Flush the intake manifold with solvent.
6. Dry the intake manifold with compressed air.
7. Check the condition of the sealing surfaces, threads for mounting bolts, tube and hose fittings.
8. Check the warping of the intake manifold flange:
a) Place the measuring prism on the flange. The prism must lie on at least two flanges of the inlet channels.

b) Measure the gap between the flange and the prism. If the flange warpage is more than 3 mm per 200 mm of length, replace the manifold.
