2. Remove the cover (409) oil pump.
Attention: mark the relative position of the pump gears.
3. Remove the drive gear (410).
4. Remove driven gear (412).
5. Unscrew the plug (416) reducing valve. Tightening torque 12 Nm.
6. Remove the spring (415) pressure reducing valve
7. Remove valve (414).
8. Assembly is carried out in the reverse order.
Examination
Attention:
- The internal parts of the oil pump are not separately serviced, except for the pressure reducing valve spring. If the oil pump parts are worn or damaged, replace the oil pump assembly.
- The oil receiver and its mesh are serviced as an assembly, never repair the oil receiver mesh.
1. Wash the oil pump parts with solvent.
2. Dry parts with compressed air.
3. Inspect the oil pump housing (413) and cover (409), look for cracks, signs of excessive wear, scoring, or casting defects.
4. Inspect the surface of the oil passage of the oil supply from the pump to the engine, look for scratches or tearing of metal.
5. Check the condition of the threads of the bolt holes in the pump casing.
6. Check the condition of the pressure reducing valve plug threads (416) and holes for the cork in the body.
7. Check the cleanliness of the oil passages in the pump housing.
8. Check the status of the presenter (410) and driven (412) load gears, look for signs of chipping, metal picking or wear. Minor defects can be removed with fine sandpaper.
9. Check the condition of the drive gear splines, look for signs of excessive wear.
10. Inspect the relief valve (414) and valve hole, look for signs of scoring or wear. The valve in the hole must move freely.
11. Check up a condition and reliability of landing of a grid of an oil receiver of the oil pump.
