Front seats (Chevrolet Aveo T200)

Removal



1. Loosen the screws securing the seat to the floor.

1. Loosen the screws securing the seat to the floor.


2. Disconnect the electrical connector under the driver's seat (if there is a belt pretensioner).

3. Remove the seat.

Installation



Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

When installing, tighten the front seat mounting screws to a torque of 25 Nm.

Headrest



Removal



1. Press the headrest button and remove the headrest from the seat back.

2. Insert two flat-head screwdrivers into the slot of the guide bushing.

3. Using screwdrivers, press the clamps and remove the guide bushings.

Installation



Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.



Front seat back



Removal



1. Remove the front seat from the vehicle. See above.

2. Remove the seat tilt adjustment handles.

3. Remove the recline cover from the front seat.

3. Remove the recline cover from the front seat.


4. Loosen the screws securing the seat back to the seat cushion.

5. Remove the back.

Installation



Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.




Front seat cushion



Removal



1. Remove the seat back. See above.

2. Loosen the seat cushion mounting screws.

2. Loosen the seat cushion mounting screws.


3. Remove the cushion from the seat base.

3. Remove the cushion from the seat base.


Installation



Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

When installing, tighten the fasteners to the following torques:
  • height adjustment handle screw - 12Nm;
  • screws securing the seat base to the floor - 25 Nm;
  • front seat belt anchor bolt - 38 Nm;
  • front seat side trim mounting screw - 12 Nm;
  • screws securing the front seat cushion to the base - 17 Nm;
  • front seat back mounting screws - 25 Nm.
