Removal
1. Disconnect the "-" battery cable.
Caution: The fuel system is under pressure. To avoid the risk of injury or fire, relieve the fuel system pressure before disconnecting the fuel lines.
2. Release the fuel pressure.
3. Remove the fuel feed/return line by moving the line connector fastener forward and removing the hose from the fuel filter tube.
4. Remove the fuel filter ground.
5. Remove the fuel filter bracket bolts.
6. Remove the fuel filter from the mounting clamp.
Installation
1. Install the new fuel filter into the mounting clamp. Pay attention to the installation direction.
2. Install the fuel filter bracket bolts.
3. Connect the fuel supply/return lines. Secure the lines with a clamp.
4. Perform a leak test on the fuel filter.
