2. Start the engine at idle speed.
3. While moving the gear shift lever to the reverse position, slowly release the clutch pedal and measure the distance between the point where the noise is not heard and the point where the clutch is fully engaged.
The distance should be from 30 to 35 mm.

4. If the pedal travel is outside the specified value, check the following:
- clutch pedal height;
- clutch pedal free play;
- air in the system;
- clutch cover and pressure plate.
