Checking the serviceability of seat belts



Fasten the seat belts on the front seats and then open the locks.

Fasten the seat belts in the rear seats and then open the locks (if available).

Calmly pull out the seat belt, pass it across your body and insert the metal buckle into the lock.

Adjusting the height of the seat belt



Pull the belt out, press the central part of the adjustment mechanism and set the height. An excessively high position may negatively affect the comfort of the belt.

Audible seat belt warning (optional).

A warning sounds for 4-8 seconds if the driver's seat belt is not properly fastened when the ignition switch is in the ON position.

Checking the free travel of the pedals



Check the free travel of the brake and clutch pedals.

Brake pedal

After pressing the brake pedal several times with the engine off, to remove the vacuum in the brake system, lightly press the pedal with your hand and measure the distance it travels before resistance occurs.



Brake pedal free travel: 1-8 mm.

Clutch pedal



Press the pedal lightly with your hand until you feel resistance and measure the distance.

Clutch pedal free play: 6-12 mm

Clutch pedal free play: 6-12 mm


If the free play is not as specified, the system or linkage should be checked and adjusted.

Sound signal



Check the sound signal for proper operation.

Auxiliary and additional equipment



Check the following components for functionality and presence of extraneous noise.

Automatic transmission.

Electric sunroof.

Power steering system.

Anti-lock braking system.

Electric windows.

Adjustable steering wheel.

Filler cap opening lever.

Remote control system for locks.

Checking headlights and external lighting devices



Check the lighting devices by turning them on and fulfilling the necessary conditions (for example, the direction indicators turn on when the ignition is on).

Checking the windshield wiper



Check the operation of the windshield wiper and washer in all operating modes in accordance with the operating instructions.
