Caution: Always keep your hands, tools and clothing away from fan impellers before disconnecting the battery from ground to prevent injury (the fan motor may turn on regardless of whether the engine is running or not).
Removal the fan
1. Disconnect the "-" battery cable.
2. Disconnect the fan connector.
3. Remove the fan mounting bolts.
4. Remove the fan.
Installing a Fan
Warning: If the blade is deformed or damaged in any way, do not attempt to repair or reuse it. In this case, the entire unit must be replaced with a new one. It is important that the fan is carefully balanced. A poorly balanced fan may become unusable during use or fly off, which is extremely dangerous. A deformed or damaged fan cannot be properly balanced.
1. Install the fan and tighten the mounting screws to 4 Nm.
2. Connect the fan connector.
3. Install the removed elements in the reverse order of removal.
