Please note: Injectors are marked by flow capacity. When ordering a fuel injector, make sure you order the part with the same number as the old injector.
1. Install new sealing rings on the fuel injectors, after lubricating them with engine oil.
2. Install the fuel injectors into the fuel rail sockets with the injector terminals facing outward.
3. Install the injector mounting clamps onto the injectors and the edge of the fuel rail.
4. Make sure the clamp is installed parallel to the fuel injector harness connector.
5. Install the fuel rail assembly onto the cylinder head and tighten the fuel rail mounting bolts to 25 Nm.
6. Connect the fuel supply hose.
7. Connect the fuel injector wire harness connectors. Rotate each fuel injector to avoid stretching the wire harness.
8. Install the EGR valve if your vehicle has one.
9. Connect the "-" battery cable.
10. Perform a leak test of the fuel rail and fuel injectors.
