1. The refrigerant is a chemical compound that requires careful handling to avoid causing harm to health.
2. It is necessary to work in a well-ventilated area and avoid inhaling refrigerant vapors.
3. When performing work involving depressurization of the air conditioning system, always wear safety glasses and wrap fittings, valves and connections in a clean cloth.
4. It is prohibited to carry out welding work on the vehicle near the air conditioning system units and pipelines.
5. It is prohibited to bend flexible pipeline connections (hoses) with a radius less than four diameters of the flexible connection.
6. Hoses should be inspected regularly for cracks and abrasions.
7. Before disconnecting the air conditioning system pipes, it is necessary to remove all refrigerant from it.
8. Loosen the threaded connections of the system elements slowly. Keep your face and hands away from the disconnection point to avoid injury if there is residual liquid refrigerant in the system.
9. If pressure is detected in the system during disconnection of the pipelines, it is necessary to remove the refrigerant from it as described in subsection "Removal refrigerant from the air conditioning system".
10. After disconnecting any section, immediately close the holes with caps or tape. This will prevent moisture and dirt from entering the system, which can cause the pump part of the compressor to fail.
