Removal
1. Remove the crankshaft pulley.
2. Remove the front crankshaft oil seal (1) from the engine front cover and discard the oil seal.
Installation
Caution: Do not lubricate the sealing lip of the oil seal; reinstallation of the oil seal is not permitted.
1. Lubricate the outer surface of the NEW oil seal with engine oil.
2. Lubricate the oil seal seat in the front cover with engine oil.
3. Install the seal on the guide.
4. Press the seal into the front cover.
5. Install the crankshaft pulley.
