Oil filter adapter (Chevrolet Tahoe 2)

Removal

1. Raise the vehicle and place safety stands under the frame.

2. On 1500 series models, loosen the oil pan guard mounting bolts and remove the guard. Tightening torque 28 Nm.

3. On 2500 Series models, loosen the two rear and two front oil pan guard mounting bolts and remove the guard. Tightening torque 28 Nm.

4. Place a container under the oil filter to collect the oil.

5. Unscrew the oil filter (437). Tightening torque 30 Nm.



6. Unscrew the adapter (438) of the oil filter. Tightening torque 55 Nm.

Installation

7. Installation in reverse order.
