Removal
1. Remove the automatic transmission drive clutch.
2. Remove and discard the rear crankshaft oil seal.
Installation
1. Decide on the direction of installation of the seal.
Caution: When installing, orient the seal correctly. The part number on the seal must face outward.
2. Install the conical guide (2) of the oil seal onto the crankshaft flange.
3. Tighten the guide mounting bolts by hand.
4. Install the rear oil seal onto the guide and push the oil seal until it contacts the seat.
5. Press in the seal using the mandrel (1).
