Removal and installation the fuel vapor recovery system canister (Chevrolet Aveo T300)

You will need a flat-blade screwdriver.

The fuel vapor recovery system canister is removed for inspection or replacement if a persistent gasoline smell appears due to its leakage. In addition, a leaky canister can cause unstable engine operation at idle speed up to its shutdown.

1. Remove the fuel tank (see "Replacing the fuel tank and its filler pipe").

2. Press the locking button of the steam hose tip...

3. ...and disconnect the steam line from the adsorber fitting.

5. Remove the ventilation hose from the holder on the fuel tank.

7. ...and remove the canister by sliding it up from the fuel tank bracket.

8. Remove the ventilation hose from the adsorber pipe.

9. Install the canister in the reverse order of removal.
