2. The brake light switch is mounted on the top of the brake pedal.
3. On 1987-1993 models, disconnect the wire connector and remove the switch from the brake pedal. On 1994 models, disconnect the connector. Remove the bracket and remove the switch and shaft from the brake pedal.
4. Installation is carried out in reverse order. Connect the connector and, working with an assistant, check the serviceability of the switch, which should cause the brake lights to operate.
