Removal
1. Release the parking brake.
2. Press the brake pedal at least 10 times until the sound of the adjusting spring oscillating on the adjusting nut on each brake drum stops.
3. Raise and secure the vehicle securely.
4. Remove the rear wheels.
5. Unscrew the nut.

6. Remove the brake drum.

7. Using the rear brake adjuster nut, turn the adjuster inward until sufficient braking force is achieved on the brake drum.
8. Make sure that the parking brake lever stops are against the edge of the brake shoe rib. If not, loosen the parking brake cable on the equalizer.

Installation
1. Install the rear brake drum and tighten the mounting screw to a torque of 200 Nm.
2. Install the rear wheels.
Note: It is necessary to press the brake pedal more than 10 times. The clearance between the brake shoes and the drum will be adjusted when the clicking noise is no longer heard.
3. Press the brake pedal until the clicking sound of the adjuster stops.
4. Adjust the parking brake.
