Removal
1. Raise and secure the vehicle securely.
2. Remove the rear wheels.
3. Mark the position of the wheels relative to the wheel hubs.
4. Remove the brake drum.
5. Remove the brake shoe with the lining.

6. Remove dirt and foreign matter around the wheel cylinder inlet pipe, guide and bolt.
7. Disconnect the brake pipe from the wheel cylinder.
8. Close the hole in the brake pipe to prevent fluid leakage and dirt from getting inside.

9. Remove the screw securing the wheel cylinder to the support shield.
10. Lightly tap the wheel cylinder away from the support plate, being careful not to damage the bypass valve and its cap.

Installation
1. Install the wheel cylinder into the hole in the support shield and tighten the mounting screw to a torque of 8 Nm.

2. Connect the brake pipe to the wheel cylinder and tighten to a torque of 16 Nm.
3. Install the brake shoe with friction lining and the brake drum.
4. Bleed the brakes.
