Vacuum booster — removal and installation (Chevrolet Aveo T250)

1. On vehicles equipped with a manual transmission, disconnect the clutch release drive hydraulic system feed hose. Close the expansion tank and tube openings with plugs. Disconnect the brake fluid level sensor connector.

2. Unscrew the brake master cylinder mounting nuts and move it to the side.

3. Remove the clamp securing the vacuum hose to the brake booster (the connection is shown for vehicles with an engine with two overhead camshafts).

4. Disconnect the brake warning lamp switch.

5. Remove the brake pedal return spring.

6. Unpin and remove the pin (2) securing the push rod to the brake pedal.

7. Unscrew the nuts (1) securing the vacuum booster and remove the vacuum booster assembly.

7. Unscrew the nuts (1) securing the vacuum booster and remove the vacuum booster assembly.


8. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
