
- A. New poly V-belt.
- B. Belt V-ribs are worn out - edges are sharpened (the new one has a trapezoid chamfer).
- C. The cord threads protrude onto the surface of the belt edges.
- D. Transverse cracking of the rubber on the back side of the belt.
- E. The wedge ribs are torn from the belt base.
- F. Wear of the surface cord threads.
- G. There are cord burrs.
- H. Transverse cracks on the working surface.
- J. Destruction of wedge ribs.
- K. Individual breaks in wedge ribs.
- L. Dirt or small stones embedded in the rib material.
- M. Rubber defects at the base of the ribs.
Replacing the poly V-belt
1. Remove the air filter housing.
2. To loosen the belt tension, turn the screw (1) clockwise.
3. Without loosening the screw (1), remove the belt.
4 Place the belt on the pulleys according to the diagram, loosen the tensioner again and put the belt on the tension roller. To tighten the belt, release the tensioner.
5. Install the air filter housing.
