Caution: When installing a new IAC valve, ensure that it is replaced with an identical part. The IAC valve stem geometry and diameter are designed for a specific application.
Measure the distance between the IAC valve stem head and the mounting flange. If the distance is more than 28 mm, press the stem with your finger to return the stem back.
The force required to return the stem will not damage the IAC valve. The 28 mm distance was set to prevent the IAC valve stem from coming out of its seat. The 28 mm seat corresponds to the idle control position at startup.
1. Install a new ring on the valve, after lubricating it with oil.
2. Install the IAC valve to the throttle body and tighten the mounting screws to 3 Nm.
3. Connect the IAC valve connector.
4. Connect the "-" wire of the battery
5. Start the engine and check the idle speed.
