2. Start the engine at idle speed.
3. When moving the gearshift lever to the reverse position, slowly release the clutch pedal and measure the distance between the point where the noise is not heard and the point where the clutch is fully engaged. The distance should be between 30 and 35 mm.
4. If the pedal travel is outside the specified value, check the following:
- clutch pedal height,
- free play of the clutch pedal,
- air system,
- clutch cover and pressure plate.
