Withdrawal
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the gearbox.
3. Remove the pressure plate mounting screws and pressure plate.
Attention: when removing the last bolt, hold the pressure plate.
4. Remove the clutch disc from the flywheel.
Drive Drive Check
1. Visual check:
- check the clutch surface for wear or oil contamination,
- check the torsion spring for damage or weakening,
- Check the clutch disc for warping or bending. After checking, replace the clutch disc if necessary.
2. Checking the clutch disc:
- measure the depth of the rivet head from the surface of the clutch disc,
- replace the clutch disc if the measured value is below the limits.
Rivet head depth (limit value: 1.2 mm).
3. Checking the runout of the clutch disc in the direction of rotation:
- measure the runout with a dial indicator,
- if the runout exceeds the maximum allowable value, replace the clutch disc.
Checking the pressure plate
1. Check the spring pin for wear.
2. Check the pressure plate surface for wear or cracks.
3. Check the surface for oil contamination. After checking, replace the pressure plate if necessary.
Installation
1. Apply multipurpose grease to the splines of the clutch disc hub.
2. Align the pressure plate and clutch plate on the flywheel with a drift.
