Removal
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the gearbox.
3. Remove the pressure plate mounting screws and the pressure plate.

Caution: When removing the last bolt, hold the pressure plate.
4. Remove the clutch disc from the flywheel.

Checking the slave disk
1. Visual inspection:
- check the clutch surface for wear or oily contamination,
- check the torsion spring for damage or weakening,
- check the clutch disc for warping or bending. After checking, replace the clutch disc if necessary.
2. Checking the clutch disc:
- measure the depth of the rivet head from the surface of the clutch disc,
- replace the clutch disc if the measured value is below the limits.
Rivet head depth (limit value: 1.2 mm).

3. Checking the runout of the clutch disc in the direction of rotation:
- measure the runout with a dial indicator,
- if the runout exceeds the maximum permissible value, replace the clutch disc.

Checking the pressure plate
1. Check the spring pin for wear.
2. Check the surface of the pressure plate for wear or cracks.
3. Check the surface for oil contamination. After checking, replace the pressure plate if necessary.

Installation
1. Apply multi-purpose grease to the clutch disc hub splines.
2. Align the pressure plate and clutch disc on the flywheel using a drift.
3. Install the pressure plate on the flywheel and tighten the pressure plate mounting screws to a torque of 15 Nm.
