Adjusting the gear shift mechanism (Chevrolet Aveo T250)

            0

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Set the gear shift lever to neutral position.

3. Loosen the shift rod clamp clamp bolt.

4. Remove the adjusting hollow insert from the shift lever cover.

5. Turn the stem and secure it by fully inserting the 5mm diameter pin into the hole.

6. Disconnect the lower edge fastening of the gear shift lever boot.
7. Pull the cover up to access the mechanism.

8. Set the shift lever to the left of the neutral position (see figure T250 4.031).

9. Insert a 5mm pin into the holes to ensure that the shift lever is aligned with the shift lever housing.



10. Tighten the rod clamp bolt to a torque of 14 Nm.

11. Remove the locking pin from the adjustment hole.

12. Tighten the plug.

13. Remove the locking pin from the shift lever.

14. Install the cover on the console.
