Caution: Support the gearbox with a jack.
1. Install the gearbox by inserting the gearbox input shaft into the splined hole of the clutch driven disk, and connect the manual transmission to the engine.
2. Install the seven lower transmission mounting screws and tighten them.
Tightening:
- Tighten the lower gearbox mounting bolts to 73 Nm.
- Tighten the lower gearbox mounting bolt b to 31 Nm.
- Tighten the lower gearbox mounting bolts to 21 Nm.
3. Install the three gearbox mounting screws and tighten them to 73 Nm.
4. Install the intermediate gearbox support and tighten the mounting screws to a torque of 55 Nm.
5. Install the gearbox mounting bracket and tighten the mounting bolts to 60 Nm.
6. Tighten the rear damper block mounting bolts to 55 Nm.
7. Install the rear damper block on the front crossmember and tighten the mounting bolts to 80 Nm.
8. Tighten the union nut and damper block bolt to 80 Nm.
9. Install the clutch slave cylinder and tighten the mounting bolts to 20 Nm.
10. Connect the speedometer speed sensor electrical connector.
11. Connect the electrical connector of the reverse light switch.
12. Remove the engine support fixture.
13. Install the drive shaft.
14. Install the gearbox control lever mechanism.
15. Install the battery tray and battery.
16. Check the oil level in the gearbox.
