Disassembly
1. Remove the gearbox from the vehicle.

2. Remove the oil filler plug.
3. Remove the gear shift lever cover.


4. Remove the retaining ring, bushing, spring and intermediate lever.

5. Remove the shift lever pin.

6. Remove the shift rod and shift lever.

7. Loosen the screw and remove the speedometer sensor.

8. Remove the gearbox cover.


9. Engage 2nd gear.
10. Loosen the bearing housing mounting screws.

11. Remove the bearing housing together with the shafts.

12. Engage reverse gear.
13. Secure the bearing support in the fixture.

14. Remove the bolts and 5th gear shift fork.

15. Remove the retaining ring of the 5th gear block of the driven shaft.

16. Remove the 5th gear clutch and clutch hub.

17. Remove the 5th gear driven gear.

18. Remove the bronze S-gear synchronizer locking ring.

19. Remove the needle bearing, snap ring and thrust washers.

20. Remove the 5th gear pinion retaining ring.

21. Remove the 5th gear pinion.

22. Remove the bolts and 5th gear connector from the backing plate using a stop.

23. Remove the 4th gear shift rod retainers.

24. Remove the spring and locking pin from the small hole.

25. Remove the pin from the reverse gear rod/fork assembly.

26. Remove the reverse gear rod/fork assembly from the support plate.

27. Remove the screws from the support bracket.

28. Remove the 1st and 2nd gear fork retaining pin.

29. Pull the 1st and 2nd gear rod outward until it comes out of the bearing housing.

30. Remove the support bracket.

31. Remove the 3rd/4th gear fork retaining pin and the 3rd/4th gear rod.

32. Remove the 5th gear lever.

33. Remove the 1st and 2nd gear rod.

34. Press the retaining ring holding the driven shaft and lock it.

35. Keep the snap ring open at the base of the drive shaft using a snap ring expander.

36. Remove the driven shaft assembly and the input shaft assembly from the support plate.
