Replacing the rear door opening limiter (Chevrolet Aveo T300)

You will need the "by 10"key (better socket head).

1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Remove the rear door trim (see "Removal and installation the rear door trim").



3. Peel off the edge of the moisture-proof film from the inner door panel.



4. Unscrew the two nuts securing the limiter to the door.



5. Unscrew the bolt securing the limiter to the body pillar...





6. ...and remove the limiter through the technological window in the inner door panel. Replace the damaged door opening limiter with a new one.

WARNING: After removing the door stop, hold the door to prevent it from opening too far. When fully opened, the rear door will hit the front door, causing deformation of both doors.

7. Install the door opening limiter in the reverse order of removal.
