Removal and installation the front passenger airbag switch (Chevrolet Aveo T300)

You will need: a special plastic mounting spatula, flat-head and Phillips-head screwdrivers.

1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.



2. Remove the HVAC control unit cover (see "Removal and installation of the control unit for the heating, air conditioning and ventilation system").



3. From the inside of the control unit cover, unscrew the two screws securing the switch...



4. ...and remove the switch.

5. Install the switch in the reverse order of removal.
