Fan control knob

Located on the left side of the heating and ventilation control panel. Controls the fan speed. The control knob has four speed positions. To increase air flow, turn the knob to the HI position, to decrease air flow, turn it to the LO position. To turn off the fan, turn the knob to the OFF position.
Temperature selection knob
The middle knob on the control panel allows you to select the desired temperature mode in the car. This knob allows you to adjust the desired temperature regardless of the position of the knob, the control of the air flow direction.
Turn the knob clockwise to the red sector for warm air. Turn the knob counterclockwise to the blue sector for cool air.
Air flow direction control knob
The right knob on the control panel allows you to select the air flow direction. The control knob can be placed in any position between the two air flow direction modes to mix the air flow.
Heating and ventilation controls with air conditioning (if equipped)
Fan control knob
Works the same as in the previous chapter.

When the air conditioner is on, moving the control knob to the OFF position turns off the air conditioner compressor. In the OFF position, air will flow through the floor fan vents while driving.
You cannot change the air flow direction. This is normal for the OFF position.
Temperature selection knob
Works the same as in the previous chapter.
Air flow direction control knob
Works the same as in the previous chapter.
Rear heating and air conditioning controls (if equipped)
If your vehicle has one of these systems, you can weaken or strengthen the air flow through the rear fan vents. Depending on the system and the selected control knob position, you can send cooler or warmer air to the rear of the vehicle.

Air conditioning controls (without heating) the back of the car (if equipped)
If your vehicle has this feature, the controls are located above the front and second seats. These controls allow you to increase or decrease the air flow through the rear vents.
To operate the rear air vents, the air conditioning system on the front panel must be turned on. If the air conditioning system on the instrument panel is not turned on, the rear air conditioning system can only be used for air circulation.
To operate the rear air conditioning system while the front air conditioning system is on, simply turn the control knob to the desired position.

To use the rear controls, first turn the control knob on the front panel to the REAR CNTL position. Then the rear controls can be used to weaken or strengthen the air flow.
Heating the rear of the car (without air conditioning) (if equipped)

If your vehicle has this feature, the control switch is located on the instrument panel.
To increase or decrease the air flow to the floor fan vents, move the switch marked REAR HEAT to the desired position.
The switch has three air flow speed positions. To increase the flow of heated air, move the switch to the HIGH position. To reduce the flow of heated air, move the switch to LOW. To turn off the fan, move the switch to the OFF position.
Heating and air conditioning in the rear compartment (if equipped)
If your vehicle has a combined rear heating and air conditioning system, the controls allow you to adjust the temperature, direction and strength of the air flow.

To adjust the temperature, turn the control knob on the right side of the control panel. For warm air, turn it clockwise to the red sector, for cold air, turn it counterclockwise.
To adjust the direction of air flow, use the central control knob. Turn it clockwise to direct the air flow through the lower nozzles, counterclockwise - through the upper nozzles.
Typically, the upper nozzles are used for air conditioning, the lower ones for heating. The control knob can be set to any position for air mixing.

To adjust the air flow rate, use the control knob on the left side of the panel, which you set to the desired position. To use the rear controls, set the fan control knob on the front panel to the RAER CNTL position.
Air conditioning
For best performance, use the air conditioner with the windows closed.
The air recirculation button is located between the fan and temperature control knobs, it does not allow air to enter the cabin from outside, maximizes the efficiency of the air conditioner and fuel consumption. In this position, the air cools faster. When a comfortable temperature is reached in the cabin, turn off the recirculation. The recirculation button does not work when the right control knob on the panel is in the position between HEATER and DEFROST.
The A/C button between the temperature and air direction control knobs turns on the air conditioner to cool the air, used on hot days.
When the A/C button is on, turn the temperature control knob to the MAX position for maximum cooling. In this position, the air will cool faster. When a comfortable temperature is reached in the cabin, turn the temperature control knob clockwise to select the normal cooling mode.
Heating
Use the heater with the windows closed. In cold weather, use the right control knob on the panel in the HEATER or VENT HEAT position and the temperature control knob in the red section. If you use the coolant heater before starting the engine in cold weather of -20°F (-8°C) or below, the heating system in the passenger compartment will warm the air faster.
Ventilation system
In good weather conditions, when neither heating nor air conditioning is needed, use the VENT position to directly bring outside air into your vehicle. Air will flow into the cabin through the instrument panel vents.

These nozzles are located in the center and on the sides of the instrument panel, you can move them from side to side, up and down as you wish. If you close one of the nozzles, the air will go with great force through the other open nozzles.
Recommendations
Remove snow, ice, leaves, etc. from the hood and underhood grille. The heater will work better.
When getting into the car in cold weather, turn the fan control knob to the HI position for a while before driving the car. This will clear the pipes of snow and moisture.
Do not store anything under the front seats. This will ensure better air circulation.
The use of air deflectors on the hood improves the heating and air conditioning conditions.
Elimination of fogging and freezing
On cold, damp days, use the right control knob in the DEFROST position to remove ice from the windshield in exceptionally damp and cold temperature conditions. The temperature control knob should be in the red section and the fan control knob in the HI position.
Rear window defroster (if equipped)

If you see lines crossing the rear window, you have an defog mode. These lines heat the glass.
To turn on the rear window heating, press the R.DEF button next to the fan control knob.
The mode will only work when the ignition key is in the RUN (D) position. For best results, first clear as much snow and ice as possible from the rear window.
The heater will turn off automatically after a few minutes. If it is still needed, press the button again. You can also turn it off at any time by pressing the button.
