Withdrawal
1. Move the automatic transmission selector to position "R".
2. Remove the dashboard knee brace (see chapter "Body").
3. Remove the driver's seat.
4. Raise the mat and insulation around the driver's seat area.
5. Remove the retainer for attaching the cable to the steering column.
6. Remove the tip of the cable from the ball joint of the steering column lever.
7. Compress clamps and remove a cable from an arm of a steering column.
Attention: when removing and installing, avoid unnecessary twisting or bending of the automatic transmission control cable.
8. Remove cable from support.
9. Remove the cable seal from the floor panel.
10. Jack up the car and place the safety stands under the frame.
11. Disconnect the cable support clips from the floor panel reinforcement.
12. Make sure the start inhibit switch lever is in the park position.
13. Disconnect the cable support clip on the transfer case (in the presence of).
14. Detach the handpiece (2) control cable from the cable ball joint on the inhibit switch lever.
15. Remove the retainer (1) rope support.
16. Squeeze the cable clamps and remove the cable from the bracket.
17. Remove cable.
Installation
18. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. When installing, make sure that the shift shaft on the automatic transmission and the automatic transmission selector are in the position "R".
