1. Remove windshield wiper arms (see «Replacing Windshield Wiper Arms»).
2. Remove the air box grille (see «Removal and installation of a lattice of a box of an air inlet»).
3. Remove the wiper trapezoid assembly with the gearmotor (see «Removal and installation of a windscreen wiper trapezoid assembly with a gearmotor»).
4. Mark the relative position of the crank and the gearmotor shaft so that the trapezoid adjustment is not disturbed during reinstallation.
5. Holding the crank with the second key from turning...
6.... unscrew the crank nut...
7.... and disconnect it from the gearmotor shaft.
8. Turn out two screws of fastening...
9.... and separate the gearmotor and bracket.
10. Install the gearmotor in the reverse order of removal. Before screwing on the crank nut, apply an anaerobic fixative sealant to the threaded part of the shaft.
NOTE: Before installing a new gearmotor on the bracket, it must be adjusted (set to end position). To do this, do the following:
- connect the wiring harness block to the gearmotor;
- put the gearmotor with the shaft up in the opening of the air intake box;
- turn on the ignition;
- turn on the windshield wiper in the operating position for 10-20 seconds and turn it off. In this case, the motor reducer will automatically be set to the end position.
