3. Remove the windshield wiper linkage assembly with the gear motor (see "Removal and installation the windshield wiper linkage assembly with gear motor").
4. Mark the relative positions of the crank and the gear motor shaft so as not to disturb the adjustment of the trapezoid during reinstallation.

5. Using a second key, hold the crank from turning...

6. ...unscrew the crank mounting nut...

7. ...and disconnect it from the gear motor shaft.

8. Remove the two mounting screws...

9. ...and disconnect the gear motor and bracket.

10. Install the gear motor in the reverse order of removal. Before screwing on the crank nut, apply anaerobic locking sealant to the threaded portion of the shaft.
NOTE: Before installing a new gear motor on the bracket, it must be adjusted (set to end position). To do this, follow these steps:
- connect the wiring harness connector to the gear motor;
- place the gear motor with the shaft facing upwards into the air intake box opening;
- turn on the ignition;
- turn on the windshield wiper to the working position for 10-20 seconds and turn it off. The gear motor will automatically set to the end position.
