NOTE: To secure the vehicle to the tow truck platform, a fixed eye is provided, located at the rear of the vehicle on the right side of the spare wheel well. The fixed eye can also be used to tow the vehicle if it is not possible to use a removable eye, but there is a high risk of damaging the lower edge of the bumper.
WARNING: Vehicles equipped with a catalytic converter should not be towed or pushed to start the engine. This may cause the converter to overheat and fail. If the battery is discharged, do not attempt to tow or push the vehicle to start the engine.
To tow the vehicle, install the removable towing eye at the front. To do this, follow these steps:.

1. Open the trunk lid.

2. Lift the spare wheel well cover.

3. Remove the towing eye 1 from the cassette (see figure 2.1)...

4. ...and a 3-key for the wheel nuts.

5. Press the right edge of the eyelet hole plug...

6. ...and remove the plug from the hole in the bumper.

NOTE: The hole for installing the removable towing eye is located on the right side of the front bumper.

7. Screw in the towing eye by hand, turning it counterclockwise (left thread).

8. Tighten the towing eye using the lug wrench as a ratchet.

9. Secure the towing rope to the eye.

10. Insert the key into the ignition switch to unlock the steering wheel and be able to use the warning lights (brake lights, direction indicators, etc.) according to the Road Traffic Regulations. Manual transmission control lever (automatic transmission selector lever) set to neutral ("N"). If possible, tow the vehicle with the engine running to avoid increased steering and brake pedal effort.
WARNING: The brake booster and power steering only operate when the engine is running. Therefore, please note that when towing a vehicle with the engine off, the force on the brake pedal and steering wheel increases sharply.
A car equipped with an automatic transmission can be towed with the engine off at a speed of no more than 50 km/h for a distance of no more than 30 km. Otherwise, the transmission will fail, since its working fluid pump does not work and the transmission parts are not lubricated.
11. After towing is complete, remove the towing eye in the reverse order of installation and install the plug into the bumper window.
12. To use the vehicle as a towing vehicle, remove the necessary tool from the cassette (see above pp. 1-4).

13. Press the bottom edge of the plug...

14. ...and remove the plug from the hole in the rear bumper.

15. Screw in the towing eye by hand, turning it counterclockwise.

16. Tighten the lug using the wheel nut wrench as a ratchet.

17. Secure one end of the towing rope to the eye and attach the other end of the rope to the front towing eye of the towed vehicle.
WARNING: It is strictly forbidden to attach the towing rope to components of the exhaust system or rear suspension!
18. After towing is complete, remove the towing eye in the reverse order of installation and install the plug in the bumper window.
