Tie rod ends can be changed without removing the steering gear.
Removal
1. Turn the steering wheel all the way towards the joint being removed.
2. Unscrew the nut securing the ball joint of the steering rod end.

3. Loosen the tie rod end lock nut.
4. Press the tip pin out of the steering knuckle arm using a puller.

5. Remove the tip from the steering rod by unscrewing it, making sure to count the number of turns.
Installation
The installation of the tips is carried out in the reverse order, namely:
1. Place the new boot and clamps on the steering rod.
2. Screw on the locknut (if she was filming) on the steering rod.
3. Screw the new tip onto the steering rod, to the number of turns that was noted during removal.
4. Connect the steering rod to the steering knuckle and tighten the nut to a torque of 45 Nm.
5. Hold the steering rod with a wrench and tighten the lock nut to 54 Nm.
6. Tighten the clamps on the steering rod boots.
7. Check and, if necessary, adjust the wheel alignment.
