Removal and installation of the electronic engine control unit (Chevrolet Aveo T300)

You will need a 10 mm socket head.

1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.



2. Press the lock of the wiring harness connector...



3. ...and fold back the latch.



4. Disconnect the connector from the J2 connector of the engine control unit.



5. Similarly, disconnect the second connector from the J1 connector of the unit.





6. Press the lock securing the electronic unit bracket to the bracket on the battery shelf...



7. ...slide up and remove the block.



8. If necessary, unscrew the four nuts...



9. ...and detach the block from the bracket.





10. Install the engine control unit in the reverse order of removal.
