Removal and installation the ignition coil unit (Chevrolet Aveo T300)

You will need: TORX T40 key, flat-blade screwdriver.

The ignition coil block is a unit that combines four ignition coils (one coil for each spark plug). The unit is non-separable, cannot be repaired, and if even one coil fails, it must be replaced as a whole.

1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Lift the left edge of the spark plug well cover.

3. Slide the cover in the direction of the arrow, overcoming the elastic resistance of the clamps...

5. Slide the locking tab of the block wiring harness connector.

8. Remove the two bolts securing the coil unit to the cylinder head.

9. Grasp the two ends of the block; gently rocking, pull vertically upwards...

10. ...and remove the block, overcoming the elastic resistance of the clamps of its tips on the spark plugs.

11. Install the coil pack in the reverse order of removal.
