Removal and installation the starter (Chevrolet Aveo T300)

You will need: open-end wrenches "10", "13".

The starter is mounted on the cylinder block at the rear of the power unit.

1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.

3. Unscrew the power cable fastening nut...

4. ...and remove the wire from the contact bolt of the traction relay.

5. Unscrew the nut securing the control wire of the traction relay.

6. Remove the control wire from the contact bolt of the traction relay and move the removed wires to the side.

7. Unscrew the nut securing the ground wire.

8. Remove the ground wire from the lower starter mounting stud and move it to the side.

9. Remove the top bolt...

10. ...and the lower stud for attaching the starter to the engine.

11. Remove the starter.

12. Install the starter in the reverse order of removal.
