Replacement and maintenance of spark plugs (Chevrolet Aveo T300)

You will need: TORX T40 key, flat-blade screwdriver, special 16 mm key for removing spark plugs (with a rubber bushing to hold the spark plug), special round cross-section feeler gauge.

1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.

3. Blow out the spark plug wells with compressed air to prevent dirt from getting into the engine cylinder when removing the spark plug.

6. Check the gap between the spark plug electrodes with a round feeler gauge. It should be 1.0-1.1 mm.

7. If the gap is not within the norm, adjust it by bending the side electrode.

8. When installing spark plugs, screw them in by hand first (without a collar), and then tighten with a wrench.
