1. Disconnect the wire from the terminal «minus» battery.
2. Remove the ignition coil pack (see «Removal and installation of the block of coils of ignition»).
3. Blow out the spark plug wells with compressed air to prevent dirt from entering the engine cylinder when the spark plug is removed.
4. Remove spark plug...
5....and remove it from the spark plug well.
NOTE: Inspect the spark plug and evaluate its condition by appearance (see «Diagnostics of the engine condition by the appearance of spark plugs»).
6. Check the gap between the spark plug electrodes with a round probe. It should be 1.0-1.1 mm.
7. If the gap is not correct, adjust it by bending the side electrode.
8. When installing spark plugs, screw them in first by hand (without collar), and then tighten with a wrench.
