The multifunction display shows the following information:
- Information messages.
- Individual settings.
- Odometer and odometer readings.
- Trip computer display.
- Tire pressure monitoring system readings.
- Engine timer.
- Engine oil resource.
Switching modes and operating the multifunction display is carried out by pressing the buttons located on the steering wheel.
1. Pressing the button (A) the multifunction display alternates between the odometer, trip meters, tire pressure monitoring system and engine timer.
- A) Odometer and odometers (the display lights up "ODOMETER", "TRIP A" or "TRIP B").
- The odometer shows the total mileage of the car.
- The odometers show the distance traveled since the odometer was last reset to zero.
- Resetting the trip counter is carried out by pressing the button for a longer time (A), when the multifunction display is in odometer mode.
- b) Tire pressure monitoring system display mode (the display lights up "TIRE PRESSURES"). Push button (D) pressure can be viewed on the steering wheel (kPa or psi) in each tire:
- LF TIRE - front left tire pressure.
- RF TIRE - front right tire pressure.
- LR TIRE - rear left tire pressure.
- RR TIRE - pressure in the rear right tire.
- V) General timer (the display shows "TIMER"). Shows the time since the timer was last set to zero (not including the time at which the ignition was switched off). Resetting the timer is done by pressing and holding the button (A).
- G) Engine timer (the display shows "ENGINE HOURS"). Shows the total number of hours the engine has been running.
2. Pressing the button (IN) trip computer readings are sequentially displayed on the multifunction display (approximate distance the vehicle can travel with the remaining fuel in the tank, the amount of fuel used and the average fuel consumption) and engine oil resource.
- A) Approximate distance the car can travel with fuel left in the tank (the display shows "RANGE"). The reading is updated after each refueling and shows the approximate distance the vehicle can travel with the remaining fuel in the tank. When the fuel level is low, the display shows "LOW".
- b) Amount of fuel used (the display lights up "FUEL USED"). Shows the amount of fuel used since the counter was last reset to zero. Resetting the counter is carried out by pressing and holding the button (IN).
- V) Average fuel consumption (the display lights up "AVG EcOn"). Displays average fuel consumption (L/100 km).
- G) Engine oil resource (the display lights up "ENGINE OIL LIFE"). Each time you change the engine oil, reset this counter to zero by pressing and holding the button (IN). If the display shows "100%", then the counter was reset after the oil change.
3. Pressing the button (WITH) the individual settings menu is displayed: door lock/unlock condition settings, door lock/unlock ambient light settings, side mirror auto angle adjustment conditions, trigger conditions "buzzer", the choice of language for displaying messages, as well as the choice of units of measure.
- A) Setting Auto Door Lock Conditions (press the button (WITH) until the display shows "LOCK DOORS"). Push button (D) View possible conditions for automatic door locking:
- LOCK DOORS: IN GEAR - automatic door lock when the automatic transmission selector is moved from the position "R" to any other.
- LOCK DOORS: WITH SPEED - automatic locking of doors at vehicle speeds over 8 km/h.
- b) Setting conditions for automatic door unlock (press the button (WITH) until the display shows "UNLOCK DOORS"). Push button (D) possible conditions for automatic unlocking of doors are viewed:
- UNLOCK DOORS: IN PARK - the locks of all doors are automatically unlocked when the automatic transmission selector is moved to the position "P".
- UNLOCK DRIVER: IN PARK - automatic unlocking of the driver's door lock when the automatic transmission selector is moved to the position "R".
- UNLOCK DOORS: KEY OUT - automatic unlocking of door locks when the key is removed from the ignition lock.
- UNLOCK DOORS: MANUALLY - automatic unlocking of door locks is not carried out.
- V) Enabling/disabling the door lock delay function (press the button (WITH) until the display shows "DOOR LOCK DELAY"). Push button (D) this function is enabled/disabled:
- DOOR LOCK DELAY: OFF - when locking the doors with a key or a key fob of the central locking remote control system, the doors are locked immediately.
- DOOR LOCK DELAY: ON - when locking the doors with the key or remote control key fob, the doors will lock automatically within five seconds after all doors are closed.
- G) Turning on / off the light and sound signaling of the central locking remote control system when the doors are locked (press the button (WITH) until the display shows "LOCK FEEDBACK"). Push button (D) turning on / off the light or sound alarm:
- LOCK FEEDBACK: BOTH - with every button "LOCK" on the key fob of the central locking remote control system, a beep sounds twice and the dimensions flash once.
- LOCK FEEDBACK: LAMPS - with each button "LOCK" on the key fob of the central locking remote control system, the dimensions flash once.
- LOCK FEEDBACK: HORN - with each button "LOCK" on the key fob of the central locking remote control system, a beep sounds twice.
- LOCK FEEDBACK: OFF - with buttons "LOCK" on the key fob of the central locking remote control system, the light and sound alarms of the central locking remote control system do not work.
- d) Turning on / off the light and sound signaling of the central locking remote control system when the doors are unlocked (press the button (WITH) until the display shows "UNLOCK FEEDBACK"). Push button (D) turning on / off the light or sound alarm:
- UNLOCK FEEDBACK: BOTH - with each button "UNLOCK" on the key fob of the central locking remote control system, a beep sounds twice and the dimensions flash once.
- UNLOCK FEEDBACK: LAMPS - with each button "UNLOCK" on the key fob of the central locking remote control system, the dimensions flash once.
- UNLOCK FEEDBACK: HORN - with each button "UNLOCK" on the key fob of the central locking remote control system, a beep sounds twice.
- UNLOCK FEEDBACK: OFF - with buttons "UNLOCK" on the key fob of the central locking remote control system, the light and sound alarms of the central locking remote control system do not work.
- e) Setting the timer to turn off the headlights after turning off the engine (press the button (WITH) until the display shows "HEADLAMP DELAY"). Push button (D) delay time is set:
- HEADLAMP DELAY: 10 SEC
- HEADLAMP DELAY: 20 SEC
- HEADLAMP DELAY: 40 SEC
- HEADLAMP DELAY: 1 MIN
- HEADLAMP DELAY: 2 MIN
- HEADLAMP DELAY: 3 MIN
- HEADLAMP DELAY: OFF
- and) Turn on/off the function of remote switching on of external lighting (press the button (WITH) until the display shows "PERIMETER LIGHTS"). Push button (D) this function is enabled / disabled:
- PERIMETER LIGHTS: ON - enable the function (in low light conditions after unlocking the door locks using the button "UNLOCK" on the key fob of the central locking remote control system, the exterior lighting of the car will turn on for 40 seconds).
- PERIMETER LIGHTS: OFF - turn off the function.
- h) Enabling / disabling the function of getting out of the car (press the button (WITH) until the display shows "EASY EXIT SEAT"). Push button (D) this function is enabled / disabled:
- EASY EXIT SEAT: ON - enable the function (when the key is removed from the ignition, the driver's seat will automatically move to the easy exit position).
- EASY EXIT SEAT: OFF - turn off the function.
- And) Setting the system for changing the angle of the mirror elements of the side rear-view mirrors when parking (press the button (WITH) until the display shows "CURB VIEW"). Push button (D) system is configured:
Note: after turning on the system, it is necessary to adjust the position of the mirrors to which they will move when reversing (see section "Mirror management" this chapter).
- CURB VIEW: OFF - the system is turned off.
- CURB VIEW: PASSENGER - when the automatic transmission selector is moved to the position "R" The mirror element of the passenger rearview mirror automatically lowers to improve visibility near the vehicle on the passenger side.
- CURB VIEW: DRIVER - when the automatic transmission selector is moved to the position "R" The mirror element of the driver's rearview mirror automatically lowers to improve visibility near the vehicle on the driver's side.
- CURB VIEW: BOTH - when the automatic transmission selector is moved to the position "R" down the mirror elements of both rear-view mirrors.
- To) Enabling / disabling the light and sound alarm of the anti-theft system (press the button (WITH) until the display shows "ALARM WARNING"). Push button (D) turning on / off the light or sound alarm:
- ALARM WARNING: BOTH - when the anti-theft system is activated, a sound signal sounds and the dimensions flash once.
- ALARM WARNING: OFF - when the anti-theft system is activated, sound and light alarms do not work.
- ALARM WARNING: HORN - an audible signal sounds when the anti-theft system is activated.
- ALARM WARNING: LAMPS - when the anti-theft system is activated, the dimensions flash once.
- l) Selecting the language of the multifunction display (press the button (WITH) until the display shows ''LANGUAGE"). Push button (D) language is selected.
- ENGLISH - English.
- FRANCAIS - French. ESPANOL - Spanish.
Note: If you accidentally select the wrong language for the multifunction display, press and hold the button simultaneously to quickly enter the language selection mode (WITH) and button (A), then the display will show the language names in turn. When the name of the desired language is displayed, release the buttons (WITH) And (A).
- m) Selecting trip computer units (press the button (WITH) until the display shows "DISPLAY UNITS"). Push button (D) the units of measurement are selected:
- DISPLAY UNITS: ENGLISH - English measurement system.
- DISPLAY UNITS: METRIC - metric system of measurements.
Information messages
Possible information messages, as well as explanations for them, are given in the table "DIC multifunction display information messages".
Note:
- Informational messages are displayed when certain conditions occur, regardless of the multifunction display's operating mode.
- If there are several information messages, they are displayed in turn.
- In order to remove the information message from the multifunction display, you must press any button on the DIC system on the steering wheel. The message will be removed if the reason for its appearance does not require immediate action, but this does not mean that the reason has been eliminated.
- An informational message, the cause of which requires immediate action, cannot be removed.
