Attention: when replacing both shock absorbers, remove and install shock absorbers only one at a time. Sagging the entire length of the rear axle can damage the brake line and hoses.
1. Remove the upper shock absorber mounting bolts to the car body. When installing, tighten to 50 Nm.
Attention: when lifting the car with a lift, it is necessary to support the rear axle with appropriate stands.
2. Raise the vehicle and secure the rear axle well.
3. Remove the lower shock absorber-to-beam bolt. When installing, tighten to 70 Nm.
4. Remove shock absorber.
Attention: before the final tightening of the shock absorber mounting bolts, it is necessary to raise the axle assembly to a position corresponding to the position of the suspension with a load on the vehicle standing on the ground equal to the load with which the vehicle is most often used.
5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
