Features of the rear suspension design (Chevrolet Aveo T300)

Rear suspension semi-independent, lever-spring with longitudinal arms 3 (figure 7.4), hinged to the car body and connected to each other by a cross beam 1 of U-shaped cross-section. The longitudinal levers are connected to the body by silent blocks 2. Springs 5 of variable stiffness suspension (barrel-shaped). The upper and lower ends of the springs rest on elastic rubber pads.



The lower eyes 5 are bolted to the suspension arms (figure 7.5) 4 double-acting telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers. The upper ends of the shock absorbers are attached to the body via upper supports 1.





The rear suspension hub is secured to the knuckle with four bolts for the journal flange. A double-row radial thrust bearing is installed in the hub.
