
1. Remove the plug and pump out the working fluid from the power steering reservoir (see "Replacing the working fluid in the power steering system"). Close the cap to prevent dirt from getting into the tank.

2. Tighten the clamp securing the fluid supply hose to the tank...

3. ...slide it along the hose and disconnect the hose from the tank fitting.

4. Disconnect the return hose from the tank in the same way.

5. Unscrew the two bolts securing the tank to the radiator frame...

6. ...and remove the tank.

NOTE: There is a filter in the lower fitting of the tank. Wash it and blow it out with compressed air. If you cannot clean the filter from dirt, replace the tank.
7. Install the power steering fluid reservoir in the reverse order of removal.

8. Fill the power steering system with working fluid and bleed air (see "Bleeding the power steering system").
