
The vacuum pump with an electric drive, which serves as an additional source of vacuum required for the operation of the brake booster, is installed in the engine compartment, on the left side member of the body. The pump has a non-separable design, so if it fails, it is replaced as an assembly.
1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Squeeze the clamps of the hose tip to the brake booster...

3. ...and disconnect the hose from the vacuum pump fitting.

4. Squeeze the wiring harness connector clips...

5. ...and disconnect the shoe from the vacuum pump.

6. Remove the pump outlet hose from the hole in the body side member.

7. Unscrew the two bolts securing the vacuum pump bracket to the body side member and remove the pump.

8. Loosen the nut of the bracket mounting bolt to the vacuum pump, holding the bolt from turning with a second wrench...

9. ... remove the nut...

10. ...washer...

11. ...and a rubber bushing.

12. Similarly, unscrew the nut of the second bolt, remove the washer, rubber bushing and separate the pump and bracket.

13. Remove the hose from the vacuum pump fitting and completely disconnect the pump from the bracket.
14. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

NOTE: Pay attention to the pump marking. For replacement, purchase a pump with the same marking.
