Replacing the vacuum pump (Chevrolet Aveo T300)

You will need: two 10 mm wrenches.

The vacuum pump with an electric drive, which serves as an additional source of vacuum required for the operation of the brake booster, is installed in the engine compartment, on the left side member of the body. The pump has a non-separable design, so if it fails, it is replaced as an assembly.

1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.

13. Remove the hose from the vacuum pump fitting and completely disconnect the pump from the bracket.

14. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
