Shifting the selector from position "P"
Your vehicle is equipped with a system that prevents the selector from shifting from position "P" when the brake pedal is pressed. Before shifting the selector from position "P", you must turn on the ignition (turn the key in the ignition switch to the "ON" position) and fully depress the brake pedal.

Note: If you were unable to switch the selector, you must do the following:
- turn off the ignition (the key in the ignition switch is in the "OFF" position) and remove the key from the ignition switch;
- fully press and hold the brake pedal;
- insert the key into the transmission lock slot;
- shift the selector to position "N";
- after removing the key from the lock slot, insert it into the ignition switch and start the engine;
- move the selector to the position corresponding to the desired gear.
If this phenomenon occurs again, you must immediately contact a service station.
Gear shifting
The selector must be moved between the corresponding positions of the automatic transmission in the direction of the black and/or white arrow, tilting the selector towards the passenger.
Gear shifting in the direction of the black arrows requires pressing the brake pedal. Gear shifting in the direction of the white arrows is done while driving and does not require braking.

Selector lever position P, R and N
Position "P" (parking). The front drive wheels are mechanically locked from rotation. Move the selector lever to position "P" only after the car has come to a complete stop and the parking brake has been applied.
Position "n" (reverse). It is prohibited to turn the lever to this position until the vehicle has come to a complete stop.
Position "N" (neutral). The automatic transmission is in neutral position (none of the gears are engaged).
Caution: The fuel supply is automatically cut off if the range selector lever is in the "P" or "N" position and the engine starts to idle at high crankshaft speed.
Ranges "D4", "2" and "1"
Range "D4" (driving). In this position the selector lever should be constantly in the driving position under normal road conditions. In the range "D4" automatic switching of 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th gears is provided. Fourth (increasing) the transmission allows to reduce the crankshaft speed and engine noise level, as well as improve the fuel efficiency of the car.
After starting the engine and engaging the "D4" range, the automatic transmission operates in an economical mode, i.e. gear shifting in the gearbox is performed according to a program that ensures high fuel efficiency of the vehicle.
Range "2"
In range "2" switching from first to second gear is provided and switching to 3rd and 4th gears is prevented. The automatic transmission works mainly in second gear. However, when the accelerator pedal is fully pressed, the automatic transmission automatically switches to first gear.
Engage range "2" to increase traction when driving on long climbs in hilly and mountainous terrain, to improve engine braking on steep descents, and to more confidently start the car on slippery road surfaces.
Caution: When towing a trailer, do not drive off with range "2" engaged.
Range "1"
Engaging range "1" ensures the highest possible engine braking efficiency when driving on steep descents. In range "1", the gearbox is constantly in first gear.
